Surrounded by her loving family, Leona passed peacefully on March 17, 2021, at the age of 84. Of Gloucester City. (nee Gugel). Loving and devoted wife of the late Chester "Joe" Handy. Loving mother of Joseph Handy (Florence), Diana Houser (Walt) and Joann Cox (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Jason Handy (Amanda), Nicole Kearns (Devin), Robert Revero, Kevin Revero (Jessica), Michael Cox and Jessica Cox and great-grandmother of 14. Also survived by her 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to a walk-through viewing on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 12 Noon in the funeral home. For the health and safety of all in attendance, the family will not have a formal receiving line during the viewing. Interment will follow the funeral service in Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford.
