On May 13, 2016. Age 85. Of Mullica Hill. Formerly of Mantua. Loving husband of the late Marian Bruno (nee Leone). Loving father of Stephen (Eileen), Carla Caswell (Tim), and Paul (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Sean, Lauren, McKenna, Nicholas, Samantha, Antonio, Giorgio and Julia. Dear brother of the late Vincent Bruno (surviving Rita).
Leonard proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He was the co-owner of Bruno-Mease Advertising Agency in Philadelphia for over 40 years, where he worked as a commercial artist. He was a faithful, devoted parishioner of Church of the Incarnation for over 60 years. Leonard was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday morning, May 17, 2016 from 9:45 to 11:30 AM at the Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main St., Mantua, NJ 08051. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM in the church. Entombment with U.S. Marine Corps Military Honors in New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice: 190 N. Evergreen Ave, Woodbury, NJ 08096. In the memo, please write: Leonard J. Bruno.
