Woodbury – On September 6, 2018, Age 97. (nee Ackroyd). Of Woodbury, New Jersey, formerly of Gloucester City, New Jersey.  Widow for almost 58 years of Thomas J. McNulty, with whom she is now reunited. Loving mother to Thomas J. McNulty, Jr. (Wendy) and Loretta M. Kelly (Frank). Proud grandmother of Thomas McNulty Kelly (Chris Lattanzio), Susie Kelly Krone (David), Thomas J. (TJ) McNulty III, Colleen McNulty and Mary McNulty.

"The Nurse" was the beloved and respected school nurse at Gloucester High School for many years and touched the lives of many students and faculty members. She had a quick wit and was a warm and loyal friend to many. At 97, she still had her sense of humor and an endless supply of spunk. She will be missed. Loretta was predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Ackroyd, and by her sister Mary Ackroyd and her brothers Joseph L. Ackroyd and James E. Ackroyd, Jr.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her viewing to be held on Sunday, September 9th from 4 to 6 PM and again on Monday morning, September 10th from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 am in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Interment New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
