Luis A. Rivera, Jr. affectionately known as "Flaco" was born August 9, 1959, in Coamo, Puerto Rico to Lydia E. Reyes and the late Luis A. Rivera, Sr. He passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, the age of 66 in Philadelphia, PA.

Flaco, was educated in Bronx, NY and worked many years as a carpenter.

Proceeding him in death, his brother Edgardo "Ed" Rivera and sister Mildred E. Rivera, better known as "Millie".

Flaco leaves to mourn his departure, his mother Lydia Reyes, beloved brothers Richard "Yusuf" Rivera, Alex Rivera, and Hector Rivera, one sister in-law Marysol Arroyo-Rivera a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many other family and friends.
