She is also survived by beloved sisters-in-law Florence Underwood, Veronica Neunheuser, Theresa Boyle and many nieces and nephews on both sides of the Atlantic.
Margaret was born on March 31,1920, in Roscommon, Ireland to the late Bernard and Margaret Flynn. Margaret was one of eight children. Predeceased by brothers, Michael (England), Matthew (Ireland), and Thomas (England) and sisters, Bridget (Ireland), Mae (England), Nora (Ireland), and Ann (Ireland). Margaret came to Gloucester City in 1946 as a war bride. Having met in England, where David was hospitalized from injuries suffered at Normandy, they married in Manchester, England in June of 1945. Margaret was active in St. Mary's Parish and School in Gloucester City, as well as Gloucester Catholic High School. She worked for many years at Nannette Manufacturing Company in Gloucester City and Glassboro. Margaret and Dave served Meals on Wheels to many local residents. She served on the Residents Council at Cardinal Village and participated in many charitable activities there.Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2016 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Saint Mary's R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am in the church. Inurnment will be private in New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
