Gloucester City - On March 8, 2025, at the age of 71, Marie passed peacefully at home in the loving care of her husband of 45 years, Paul J. Martin. She is survived by Paul and extended family.
Marie was a lifelong resident of Gloucester City and parishioner of St. Mary's Church. She graduated from Gloucester Catholic class of 1972, took her college degree, and worked many years as a research chemist until her retirement. She co-founded a successful tech company and patented unique innovations. She visited more than two dozen countries, and once met Pope John Paul II in Rome. She loved horses and the Pennsylvania Ballet. She was kind, helpful, thoughtful, and a wonderful friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewings on Thursday evening, March 13th from 6 to 8 PM and again on Friday morning, March 14th from 9 to 10 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment will follow in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
