Surrounded by her loving family, Marie passed peacefully on January 12, 2022, at age 91. (nee Evans). Formerly of Brooklawn, NJ.
Loving wife to late George Spingler Jr. Loving Mother of George (Lynda) Spingler III, Joan Carrero, & Gwen (Raymond) McKenney. Cherished grandmother of Monica (Tom) Ferry, Travis (Stephanie) Carrero, Tiffany (Blaise) Spingler, Raymond (Gwen) McKenney Jr., Justen Carrero, George (Sarah) Spingler IV, & Madison (Vincent) McKenney. Great-Grandmother of Peyton, Collins, Raegan, Tommy, Riley, Luke, Sloane, & Grayson. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Marie Evans, sister Margaret (Margie) Thompson, sister Joan (Bunny) O'Malley, and brother Charles Evans.
Marie, known for her love of fashion, enjoyed working for many years in bridal and women's retail. She enjoyed helping others look beautiful and was known by her family and friends as the best-dressed woman around! She was very proud of her family and her greatest accomplishment was having 8 beautiful great-grandchildren. As she would want, Marie went to heaven wearing her leopard, hair styled just right, and high heels ready for her! Her beauty will continue to shine in 'her little ones' as she watches them all grow from the best seat there is!
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitations on Monday evening, January 17 th from 6 to 8 PM and again on Tuesday morning, January 18 th from 10 to 11 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11 AM in the church. Interment will be private in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
