Surrounded by her loving family, Marlene passed peacefully on January 14, 2021, at age 77. Of Bellmawr. Formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Cherished daughter of the late James and Mary Baranello (nee D'Alessio). Beloved sister of Jean Baranello Abbonizia and her late husband, Arthur James Abbonizia. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great dogs and cats.
Marlene loved pizza and bowling, time spent with family and friends, and enjoyed eating out whenever the occasion arose, cheese steaks were her favorite. She enjoyed special time spent with her best friend Nancy.
Marlene attended a Senior Care Center, Active Day of Washington Township prior to the start of Covid in March 2020. She and her family loved Trish and the staff who gave great care to Marlene every day.
At the request of her family, her burial will be a small private family funeral in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA, due to Covid-19. A celebration of Marlene's Life will be announced at a later, safer date when family and friends can gather.
