Springfield, PA, formerly of Darby, (née Righter) passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024 at the age of 99. Loving wife of the late Robert J. Brown. Beloved mother of Christine (the late Keith) Halford, Barbara Ann (Brian) Kain, and the late Robert T. Brown. Also survived by seven loving grandchildren and seven great - grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings Samuel Righter, Helen Snyder White, and Harry Righter.

Mary was born in South Philadelphia and attended St. Monica's Elementary School before moving to Southwest Philadelphia where she attended West Catholic High School. She worked in various positions including the Defense Department during WW2. She was a longtime resident of Darby, PA where she and her husband raised their family and were devoted members of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. She relocated to Springfield Township where she spent many tranquil years surrounded by her loving family.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Mary's Mass of Christian Burial 11 am on Friday, July 26th, at St. Kevin R.C. Church: 200 West Sproul Road Springfield, PA. Friends and family may visit from 9:45 am -10:45 am. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
