Mary Frances Mallard (née Newman), 85, of Somerdale, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025. Born in Boston, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Josephine H. (Collins) Newman.

Mary was a devoted mother to Karen Lado (Eduardo), Jacqueline Taylor (Doug), and John Mallard (Rachel). She was a cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Mallard, in 2010, as well as her sisters, Margaret Demos and Joan Collins.

Mary dedicated many years of her life to her work as a bookkeeper and retired after a long and fulfilling career. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic, her warm heart, and her unwavering love for her family.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, with interment in New Saint Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr, NJ.
