On June 27, 2025, at the age of 52, Matthew passed suddenly at home in Brooklyn, NY. Formerly of Haddon Township. Survived by his spouse, Huascar Cruz; his parents, James G. Moran and Judith A. Moran (nee Flynn); his siblings, Dana Gonzalez (Will) and Kevin Moran (Nilka); his nieces and nephews, Claire, Killian, Cady, Cecelia, Konnor and Keegan, as well as many loving friends.

Matt was a graduate of Haddon Township High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree. Matt has worked in the tech field in New York City for the last 25 years, most recently with Dun & Bradstreet.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday morning, July 10th from 10:15 AM to 11 AM at St. Joseph the Worker, Parish, St. Aloysius Church, 37 West Haddon Ave, Oaklyn, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM in the church. Interment will be private.
