On July 13, 2025, at the age of 51, Matt passed peacefully at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. Of Gloucester City. Beloved son of the late Thomas Earl and JoAnn Strickland (nee Bradshaw). Beloved brother of Jessica Maciolek (Matthew). Cherished nephew of Tom Bradshaw. Adored uncle of Jeremy and Madison. In addition to his parents, Matt was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Irene Bradshaw and Issac and Sally Mae Strickland. Also survived by his aunts, Irene Schorejs and Donna Mayol as well as many cousins and his longtime friends, Anthony Mezicco, Edward Monroe, Brad Lehman and Joe Schultz.

Matt was a lifelong resident of Gloucester City and a 1992 graduate of Gloucester High School, where he excelled on the football field. He was an avid reader and history buff and loved all things military or fiction involving military. Matt was a force to be reckoned with when it came to Trivial Pursuit and he was a lifelong diehard fan of the NY Giants.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, July 19th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where his funeral service will be celebrated at 12 PM. Interment will be private.
