JOHNSON, May On November 22, 2010. (nee Hultgren). Born on June 29, 1955, with much sadness we have lost our sister, aunt and friend. After a long period of suffering from CIDP, May has left us for a better place. We, who loved her dearly will never forget what a good person she was. She was a lifelong resident of Gloucester City and graduated from Gloucester City High School in 1973. Before being forced into disability retirement, May worked as a Billing Administrator for several doctors. She was a member of the Gloucester City Women's Pool League for many years and was a great player. May loved the slots in Atlantic City and was a Sixers and Phillies Fan. The family thanks her main caregivers: her sister Cass and niece Donna for all the care and time they spent with May. Also, an extended thank you to her "Best Friend" Loretta Turner. We would also like to acknowledge the great amount of time and help Lighthouse Hospice gave to May. Without this help it would have been impossible to have her at home. Survived by her beloved sisters, Mary Ann, Tippy, Cass and brother-in-law, Bud. Cherished nieces and nephews: Donna, Sam, Dana, Mike, Jen, Dave and special nephew, Eric Revelli. Also, many grandnieces and grandnephews. Special friends, Loretta, Barb, Linda and Norma. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Celebration of Life Service at 1 pm in the funeral home. Interment with her late parents in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Gloucester City will be private. No Evening Visitation. Family requests memorial donations in lieu of flowers to Lighthouse Hospice: 1040 North Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Please write in memo: May P. Johnson.
