On September 6, 2024. Age 59. Of West Deptford. Predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Jill Ann Travis (nee Oldson). Survived by his children Brittany Erin Craft (Brian), John Dillon Travis (Brittany) and Taylor Leigh Pierce (Zach); grandchildren Katharine Lily Craft and Jack Phillip Travis; his cousin Sharon Taylor and his beloved dog, Jojo.

JR was born in Rhode Island to the late Merial and June Travis. He spent his younger years in West Virginia before relocating to New Jersey. JR was a skilled diesel mechanic and took great pride in his work. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed drag racing and fishing. Above all, JR loved his late wife, his children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Friday, September 20th at 10 AM at Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua.
