Surrounded by his loving family, on November 18, 2019. Age 72. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 50 years to Erna Long. Beloved father of Michael K. Long (Patricia) and Robin C. Long. Loving brother of Robert Long (Gail). Beloved best friend of Miguel Perez. Also survived by his loving cousin Suzanne Britton and his second cousin, Kim Keyack.

Michael was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Frankford High School class of 1965. Attended LaSalle and St. Joseph's University and received his PhD in Health Administration from Kennedy-Western University on February 14, 2001. Michael proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked over 30 years in the nursing field having worked for West Jersey Hospital in Camden and Genesis Healthcare in Cinnaminson.

At Michael's request, funeral services will be private.
