Gloucester City - On June 22, 2023. Age 65. Born in Philadelphia, PA., Michael is the son of the late Heinz and Erna (Kennedy) Woerz. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Mary Ann (Zigman) Woerz; children; Nicholas Wood (Kristin), Tracy Starcher (Mark); grandchildren, Victor Starcher, Mikayla Starcher; sister, Ilse Barros; maternal aunt, Marianne Wraith (Rudy), and his Fur Son, Max.

Michael worked for several years as a warehouse man with J.C. Penney in Langhorne, PA. He was a musician and played for several bands. He also loved to write music.

Family eulogies will be celebrated for Michael on Friday, June 30th at 8:00 pm, in the McCANN -HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St, Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will be held at a later date privately.
