Mildred A. "Sue" Evans, 80, of Gloucester City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2026. Born in Camden, New Jersey, on October 22, 1946, to the late Albert D. and Mildred Hazel Plusch (née DuBell), she was a lifelong resident and a proud 1964 graduate of Gloucester City High School.

Sue dedicated many years to her career as a receptionist at the Econo Lodge in Runnemede, New Jersey. Beyond her work, she cherished her family and loved ones above all else.

She is survived by her devoted husband of many years, Robert Edwin Evans, Jr.; her loving children, Robert (Lisa), Douglas, Todd (Kimberly), and Amanda; her beloved grandchildren, Brooke, Gianna, and Harper; and her brother, John Plusch (Linda Peters). She was predeceased by her son, Bret Evans, and her brother, Albert C. Plusch.

At her request, cremation will be private.
