Patricia Ann Underwood (née Riley) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 26, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1953 in Camden, NJ to the late James Joseph Riley and Veronica Jane (Borzner) Riley.

Patricia was a 1971 graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School. She was well known in the medical community as a long time assistant to Dr. Robert Brown and Dr. Carl Vitola. She loved traveling, going on cruises with her family, sewing and spoiling friends, family and grandkids with gifts and food. She enjoyed hosting holiday feasts and relished her roles as wife, mother, friend, co-worker, fun aunt and especially mom-mom.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Tom Underwood Sr.; children, Tom Jr. (Laura) and Bill (Jeannie); grandchildren, Jessica, Kristin and Matthew; and brothers Joseph (the late Charlene), Robert (Donna) and Michael (Lynn). In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her brother James (Jeannie).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 31, 2023 at St. Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030 at 10:30 AM where family and friends may start visiting at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
