Patricia Downey-Stinsman 79, Succumbed to COPD on September 17,2015 in her home in Runnemede, NJ surrounded by family and friends. She passed seeking the hand of God to help her to a new life. Patricia was an eccentric soul, whose quirky jokes and tricks will be missed by all. She was a connoisseur of scrabble, crossword puzzles, reading; she also loved art and music. She was a fire hard Notre Dame football fan; whom could always be heard routing for the Fightin Irish on Saturdays during football season. Patricia was born and lived in Gloucester City, NJ for 50 years, she had also resided in Woodbury, NJ, Sharon Hill, PA, and Folcroft, PA throughout her lifetime. Survived by;her children Kim Stinsman-Ward, Sidney, Justin and Joel Stinsman, 7 grand children and 8 great-grandchildren, her sister Theresa Downey-Striker and brother, Brother Michael Downey Order Of Preachers, O.P. Patricia was preceded in death by parents Joseph Downey and Veronica Manion-Hartstein-Downey. By brothers Paul Hartstein II, James Hartstein, Joseph Hartstein, and John Downey, and sister Veronica Hartstein. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM on Monday, September 21st at St. Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, where relatives and friends may visit from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
