Petrus Bouwman, 92, of West Palm Beach, Florida recently passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 11, 2019. Petrus was born on September 1, 1926 in Den Haag, Netherlands.

Petrus was a proud veteran of the Royal Netherlands Army serving in the Indonesian War of Independence and the Korean War. Petrus was a Union #279 Master Carpenter and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. As a long time resident of Yorktown Heights, New York, Petrus is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Johanna Bouwman and his loving sons, Michael Bouwman and his wife Bonnie of Cheshire, CT, and Rick Bouwman and his wife Beth of New Fairfield, CT. He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Jessica of Brookfield, CT, Dana, Gunnar, and Sara of New Fairfield, CT, and Meghan and Brian of Cheshire, CT.
