Obituary

Richard Baskerville was born on October 2, 1929 and departed this life on Sunday, December 14, 2014 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. He was married three times (Virginia, Deloris and Gwendolyn), and was preceded in death by all of them. Richard loved to work on cars in his early years. He loved driving large cars and making people laugh. He leaves to cherish his precious memories a son, Robert Baskerville (Claudia), three daughters, Mark Tucker, Joyce Pulliam and Jacqueline Coleman (Don). However, he always stated he had nine daughters. He has two step children, Ina Thompson and Jason Rex. Other remaining family includes one sister, Ethel Shockley, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He also had lots of friends at his home of the last few years, Bentley Senior Living Facility. He and Joyce shared a special relationship and communication with each other daily. He was also close to her children Teresa Pulliam (deceased), Laura Davis and son Myles, Dwight and Virginia Pulliam. Because of his humorous personality they could really tell you some stories about his life that would make you laugh! Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday morning, December 17, 2014 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 12 Noon in the funeral home, officiated by his daughter, Elder Jacqueline Coleman. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Pennsauken.
