On July 15, 2023. Age 83. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 42 years to Cynthia O'Brien. Loving father of Shannon Nagy (Richard) and Robert J. O'Brien, III (Casey). Cherished grandfather of Justin. Beloved brother of Maureen O'Brien, Mary Ann Guinoiseau (Gilbert), the late Daniel O'Brien and the late Margaret Mary O'Brien. Bob is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were dear to his heart.

Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 25, 1940 to the late Robert J. and Margaret O'Brien (nee Cooney). A longtime resident of Gloucester City, Bob graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School class of 1958. Over the years, Bob was an avid supporter of Gloucester Catholic and enjoyed keeping up with their athletics. He worked many years as a jewelry buyer, and traveled all over the world. Family was the most important thing in the world to Bob, and he treasured the large O'Brien family gatherings that were always filled with laughter and love.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, July 21st from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ. Funeral service 12:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
