On June 3, 2018. Age 70. Of Runnemede. Born in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph E. and Mary (Sninski) Shappell. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Judithann (Wilson); beloved sons, Robert Shappell, Jr. (Bridget) and Brian Shappell (Misty Dawn); grandchildren, Nathan, Spencer and Helena Shappell; and his sister, Joan Brennan.

Bob proudly served our country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. He went on to work 32 years as a Construction Superintendent for Spencer Maussner Inc. in Cherry Hill.

Bob also spent a significant amount of time raising money for charities based in his adopted home of Runnemede. More recently, he was a proud member of the Pine Valley Trap Club.

Honoring Robert's wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bob may be shared with St. Jude's Children's Hospital ( www.stjude.org/donate/ ) and/or the Wounded Warrior Project ( www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate ).
