Obituary
On November 16, 2017, at the age of 85. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 63 years to Dolores C. Whilleson (nee Davis). Loving father of Robert A. Whilleson (Diane), Kathleen Curran, Dolores M. Whilleson and Michael C. Whilleson (Eileen). Cherished grandfather of Robert W., Tanya, Leo, Jacob, Joshua and Kaitlyn and great grandfather of Nicholas, Sarah, Leo IV and Robert J. Beloved brother of the late Ethel Swain and the late Doris Bennett.
Robert was a graduate of Gloucester High class of 1950. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. Robert was a member of the Gloucester City Amateur Radio Club under call sign wa2ioz.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday morning, November 20th, from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Catholic funeral service 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Msgr. Lucitt's Needy Children's Fund, PO Box 87, Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Please memo, Robert J. Whilleson.
