On December 20, 2017. Age 81 of Gloucester City. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late George and Mary Whiteley. Robert is survived by his longtime companion, Doreen Spence, her son John Goodrich, longtime friends, Patricia, Paul G. Sr., Michael Arrera and the Arrera family. Robert was also predeceased by his sister Doris Whiteley.

Robert worked for many years as an engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a proud member of the Broomall String Band in National Park, NJ.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, December 29th at 11:00 am at the McCann - Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit from 10 to 11am. Burial will follow in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
