Ronna Lea Prentiss of Nanticoke, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 following a 14 year battle with cancer. She was 64.

Ronna was a fighter, a pillar of strength, and the heart of her family. She lived her life for her children and grandchildren and loved nothing more than spending time with them, especially at Christmas. In the summer months, she enjoyed spending time outdoors, soaking in the warmth of the sun. Ronna was incredibly hardworking and dedicated much of her life to the community through coaching.

She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, nana, friend and mentor.

Ronna was the loving mother of Kelly Burmeister (Jeff), Steven Prentiss, Cassandra Cicalese (Ren), Amanda Prentiss (Michael), and Mathew Prentiss and the adored nana of Lucy, Raymond, and Eliza Burmeister, Rennie Cicalese IV and Lena Rae and Edelyn Pollard.

Daughter of the late Raymond and Geraldine Simonitis, Ronna is survived by her brothers Roy Simonitis and Larry Soppeck (Renee), as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Nebo Baptist Church, 75 South Prospect Street, Nanticoke, PA. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m.
