Breslin
December 19, 1935 – October 3, 2019
On October 3, 2019 God extended his loving hands and called Rose Elizabeth Breslin home. Rose was born December 19, 1935 to the late John and Lydie Scott in Bridgeton, New Jersey. She attended Pennsville school district at an early age. She graduated from Bridgeton High School. Rose enjoyed playing bingo, riding the motorcycle with her husband, and spending quality time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was also a member of the PennsGrove Ambulance Squad. Rose was employed at High Grade in Pennsville, New Jersey for twenty years. She was also employed at Paco Pharmaceutical in Lakewood, New Jersey for ten years. Rose later worked at Nuclear Island in Salem, New Jersey. Lastly, she worked at PennsGrove-Carney's Point School District where she later retired.
She met and married the love of her life James P. Breslin on August 25, 1980. Together they raised four children. She was predeceased by her parents John and Lydie Scott. Her brothers Elmer Scott and Charles Pierce and her sister Eva Scott Coates. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, James Breslin. Her daughters, Diane Stewart (Larry) of Pedricktown,,NJ, Cheryl Harris of Penns Grove NJ, and Rosa Clarke (Mark) of Swedesboro NJ and her son John Harris of Pennsville, NJ. Her sister-in-law Alice Davis (Charlie) of Gloucester City, NJ.
Rose also leaves to treasure her memory sixteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and fifteen great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday morning, Oct 11 th from 9 to 11 AM at the Bagwell Funeral Home, 131 S Broad St., Penns Grove, where a funeral service will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
