Salvatore Petrella passed away on September 11, 2026, at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, New Jersey, at the age of 75. Born in Montclair, New Jersey, on May 28, 1951, he was a former long-time resident of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, before moving to Leisure Chateau in Lakewood, New Jersey.

Salvatore was predeceased by his loving parents, Antonio Petrella and Elma Petrella (nee Pomponio), and brother, Anthony Petrella.
