Samantha Robyn Serratelli, affectionately known as “Sam,” passed away peacefully at Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill on September 30, 2026, at the age of 40. Born in Towson, Maryland, on September 2, 1986, she resided in Thorofare, New Jersey.

Sam was a loving partner, daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She is survived by her devoted partner of 22 years, Stephen Bascone; her loving mother, Joan Serratelli (née Altsheler); her sisters, Pam Diamond and Rebecca Johnston; her children, Joshua, Nathan, Michaela, and Tyler Bascone; as well as her beloved pets, Miss Kitty and Maxxi. She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Serratelli and her grandmother, Pearl Sidel Serratelli.

An avid reader and animal lover, Sam was also a passionate sports fan who enthusiastically supported the Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia 76ers, Duke athletics, and tennis.

Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sam’s honor to Books Through Bars.
