Surrounded by his family, on September 1, 2025, at the age of 73, Sam passed peacefully at Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill. Lifelong resident of Brooklawn. Survived by his sons, Raymond Franchi, Samuel Franchi, II, Joseph Monk and James Monk, his grandson, Samuel "Sammy" Franchi, III; sisters, Derene Wright (Richard) and Judy Franchi-Wynters (Pete) and brother, Rick Franchi. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Dororthy Franchi.

Sam enjoyed anything and everything to do with motorcycles. A lover of music, he enjoyed singing and playing guitar. He loved his family and enjoyed the times they had together, especially with his grandson, Sammy. Above all else, Sam loved his boys and was always extremely proud of them!

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday morning, September 6th from 10 AM to 12 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 12 PM in the funeral home. Immediately following the service, one last motorcycle ride will depart the funeral home. Interment will be private.
