On September 25, 2021. Age 28. Of Sewell. Predeceased by her mother, Chpeil C. Branch. Survived by her loving and devoted caregivers and many friends.

Shaniqua was a very outspoken, energetic, fearless lady who Devereux had the pleasure of working with for the past two years following her transition of care from a previous agency.

In our short time with Shaniqua, we learned that she was a leader among her peers. She always jumped in to help staff, and frequently required redirection to make sure that she did not confuse receiving services with offering them! In a short period of time, she lost contact with her family, but maintained friendships with her many of her former housemates.

Shaniqua recently moved to the South Jersey in order to support her increasing medical needs. She was happy about her relocation, starting a new day program and settling into her new life at Devereux.

Shaniqua's most enjoyable activities included going shopping, eating out, and cooking.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral Service 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Waterford Memorial Park, Waterford Twp., NJ.
