Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, on February 6, 2018, Sheelagh lost her courageous battle with stage IV colon cancer. Age 66. (nee Pippett). Of Deptford. Formerly of Franklinville. Cared for by Kimberly and Marco Anthony, Mary Blackiston, Loretta Valora and Marco, Jr. and Michael Anthony. Loving wife of 43 years to the late Leonard Valora. Beloved sister of Mary Blackiston (late Harlan), Samuel Pippett (Pat) and Kathleen Kong (Owen). Predeceased by her sister Madeline Mellon. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Sheelagh worked for Patco Pharmaceutical and Cardinal Health for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed and loved the time spent working at Advanced Physical Therapy in Williamstown. Sheelagh enjoyed her pots of coffee and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 10th, from 2 to 4 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 4 pm at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Kathryn Morgan. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 160 E. 9th Ave, Runnemede, NJ 08078 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Please memo, Sheelagh M. Valora.
