Obituary

On April 5, 2022. Age 77. (nee Nickerson). Of Gloucester City. Loving mom of Linda Morse and her husband, Chris and Kurt Dillon and his wife, Joanne. Cherished grandmom of Christine, Caleb, Emily, Jacob, Rachel and Trevor and great-grandmom of Bailey and Dimitri. Beloved sister of William Nickerson (Karen), Joseph Nickerson (Priscilla), Rose Shute (late Harry), Charlotte Spencer (late Paul), Gertie Gentile (late John), Eleanor Thomas (John), and the late Joan Michael (late Gerry). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Shirley was a longtime resident of Gloucester City. She worked many years as a hospice provider for Lighthouse Hospice in Cherry Hill and a bus aide for Holcomb Bus Company in Bellmawr. Shirley enjoyed watching football and attending all of the events of her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, April 13 th from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral Service 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
