Surrounded by her loving family at her side, Shirley passed peacefully on July 10, 2024, at the age of 84. (nee Connelly). Longtime resident of Gloucester City. Loving and devoted wife of the late Harry F. Fox, Sr. Loving mother of Harry F. Fox, Jr. and his wife, Susan and Nancy Smatana and her husband, Steve. Cherished Grandmom and Nana to Ryan (Shannon), Danielle (Jon) and Lyndsey. Adored great-grandmother of Aiden, Addison, Liam, Mackenzie and Riley. Beloved sister of Wayne Connelly and sister-in-law of William Fox, Robert Fox and Rebecca Teeman. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her dear friends, Tom, Janet and Amy Cooney, Charlotte Brown and Joyce Conway.

Shirley was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1957 and was a former co-treasurer for her classalumni. She enjoyed her class luncheons and reunions. On September 10, 1960, she married the love of her life, Harry F. Fox, Sr. Together they enjoyed traveling and being surrounded by family and friends. Shirley was a former bank teller for Gloucester City Savings and Loan. She was an active member of the Gloucester City Senior Citizens Association and enjoyed singing in the First Baptist Choir in Gloucester City. Shirley's greatest joy was the time spent and memories made with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday morning, July 15th from 9 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where her funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Interment with her late husband Harry will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
