On April 12, 2024, in the loving care of her children. Age 87 (nee Gaunt) Of Brooklawn. Devoted wife of 49 years to the late William E. Walton, Sr. Cherished mother of William E. Walton, Jr., Dennis D. (Genevieve Marquez) and Virginia L. "Ginny" (Neall) Alcott. Beloved grandmother of Lauren T. (AJ) Galda, Lindsey D. Alcott and Jake R. Alcott. Loving great-grandmother of Harper E. Galda, Luke T. Galda and Travis C. Galda.

Shirley was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a longtime resident of Brooklawn. She was a member of the Brooklawn Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Shirley's viewing on Wednesday, April 17 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Methodist Religious Service 8 pm in the funeral home. Cremation will be private on Thursday. Inurnment and graveside service with her late husband, William are private at Camden County Veterans Cemetery at Harleigh Cemetery.
