On September 30, 2011. Age 51. Of Brooklawn. Loving son of John J. Welsh and the late Letitia M. (nee O Donnell). Loving and devoted brother of Mary Anne Welsh, John (Linda) Welsh, Margaret (Jack) Yeackel, Regina (Terry) Towle, Patrick Welsh, Michael (Lori) Welsh and the late James Welsh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. After graduating from Gloucester High School class of 1979, Steve graduated from the Seafarers School of Seamanship in Piney Point, MD and was a member of the International Seafarers Union. For 20 years, Steve worked for Crowley Maritime out of Jacksonville, FL. He also worked on the Mississippi River for ACBC out of Patuka, KY. Steve loved vacationing and visiting family in the Florida Keys and also his trips to New Hampshire. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 AM at St. Marys R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St. Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM in the church. Interment private in New St. Marys Cemetery, Bellmawr.
