Surrounded by her loving family, Theresa passed peacefully on December 18, 2023, at the age of 82. (nee Downey) Formerly of Gloucester City, Runnemede and Woodbury.

Predeceased by her husband Francis H. Striker, Jr. Survived by her children, Robert A. Watson, Jr. (Elizabeth), Rebecca Zouck (George) and Benjamin J. Watson (Dawn). Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Stephanie (James), Veronica, Meghan, Erin, Elizabeth (Corey), Ben Jr., Stephen, Alison, Jacob, Mia and Liam; and, great-grandmother of Stella, Caleb, Penelope, Gracie, Silas, Georgie Mae and Vivienne. Predeceased by her siblings, Brother Michael Downey, OP, Patricia Stinsman, Paul Hartstein, James Hartstein, Joseph Hartstein, John Downey and Veronica Hartstein. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Theresa was born at home in Gloucester City to the late Joseph and Veronica Downey. She was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1959.

Theresa worked over 25 years as an administrative assistant for Rutgers University in Camden, as well as a secretary for the Camden County Sheriff's Office.

Theresa loved interior design, drawing and painting, and celebrating her Irish heritage.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday morning, December 27th from 9:15 to 11:15 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM in the church. Interment will be private in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
