On November 2, 2017, at the age of 75. Of Gloucester City. Loving husband of the late JoAnn E. Holmes (nee Helmbold). Loving father of Thomas J. Holmes, Jr. (Kim), Leonard Brown (Fran), late Joseph Holmes (surv. Deborah), Christopher Holmes, Jamie Holmes and Michelle Holmes. Cherished grandfather of Skylar, Desiree, Kristin, Ireland, JoAnna, Natalie, Shane, Alex, Joey, Malaki, Isaac, Scott, Myranda and Bobbi. Beloved brother of Ruth Muall (late Charlie), Carol Howery (Vernon), late Maryann Hollywood (late Bill), late Henry Holmes (late Rose), Donald Holmes (late Kathy), Late Joni Springer (late Bob) and the late Joseph Holmes. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a longtime resident of Gloucester City and most recently resided in Gloucester Towne. He worked many years as a truck driver before retirement. Thomas was an avid fisherman and enjoyed crabbing, camping, trips to AC and playing his casino computer games.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday evening, Nov. 8th from 4 to 5 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment will be private.
