Obituary
Tom leaves to mourn his beloved roommate, Lester Whitman and other housemates: William Fry, William Jackson, Michael Sawello, Justin Whalen, Lucjan Grodzki, Kelsch Residential Staff and Administrators. Thomas established other relationships at Edgewater ARC Day Program and a special relationship with Katie Lanne and his Case Manager Jodi Kerney. Thomas also considered Richard Freeman not only his Guardian but a special friend who never missed a birthday.
Thomas did not allowed blindness to be a barrier in his life. He over came obstacles by enhancing his independence. Tom was a member of Calvary Church in Delran. He enjoyed going for walks, to the movies, and listening to oldies on the radio. Tom enjoyed attending recreational activities, eating hoagies and chocolate cake. He had a knack for recalling special past events and recognizing voices. Thomas would also navigate the Group Home despite staff's prompts to utilize his cane. Thomas will truly be missed. Sadly, The Kelsch Family.
Relatives, caregivers and friends are kindly invited to attend Tom's viewing on Wednesday from 10 am to 11 am at McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Service 11 am in the funeral home and Interment in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Bridgeton. Condolences and Memories may be shared at
