On July 19, 2012. Age 79. Of Gloucester City. Beloved husband of 50 years to the late Marie S. Quinn (nee Harvey). Loving father of Thomas J. Quinn, Jr. and his wife Michelle, Marie F. Peacock and her husband John and William J. Quinn. Loving and devoted grandfather of Meghan, Jena, Victoria, Eryn, Thomas III, John Jr., Casey and Kellan. Dear brother of Dolores Atkinson. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Tom was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of Gloucester City. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Tom was employed for over 30 years as a letter carrier for the USPS in Haddon Heights. He was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Marys R.C. Church, a life member of Gloucester City Fire Department Company 1 and a longtime coach for Gloucester City Little League and St. Marys CYO Basketball. Tom was a member of the Mummers Museum Wall of Fame and participated in Fralinger, Hegeman, Broomall and Quaker City String Bands. He was an avid Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan and also a fan of Philly Sports. Tom enjoyed spending time with his late wife Marie and their eight grandchildren on the beaches of Cape May and walking the Wildwood Boardwalk. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:45 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Marys R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St. Gloucester City, NJ. Interment New St. Marys Cemetery, Bellmawr.
