Timothy "Tim" Durkin Brennan, age 78, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, in Voorhees Township, NJ. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Thomas Brennan and Gladys Brennan (née Durkin), Tim was a longtime resident of Stratford, NJ.
A proud graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School (Class of 1965), Tim went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University. He honorably served his country as a veteran of the Air National Guard. Tim spent his professional career working as an Auditor for the State of New Jersey's Division of Taxation as well as a Tax Preparation Accountant alongside his wife, Charlene, out of their home in Stratford.
Outside of his professional life, Tim was a man of diverse interests. He loved playing racquetball, spending time at the shore and on the beach, and he had a passion for treasure hunting with his metal detector. He was an avid gardener who took pride in growing tomatoes and green beans, and he spent many joyful hours coaching and cheering at his kids' sporting events.
Tim shared 56 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Charlene E. Brennan (née Kelley). He was a devoted father to his sons, Mike Brennan (Michele) and Jon Brennan (Jeannine). He was also the cherished Pop-Pop of Rachel, Emily, Ava, and Aidan Brennan. Tim was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Brennan and Gladys Brennan (née Durkin), and his sister, Catherine Brennan, who passed away in 2017.
