Obituary

In the loving care of her family, Ronnie (nee Murphy) passed peacefully on September 13, 2026, at the age of 87, at home in Sicklerville, NJ. She was the cherished wife of the late James White, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. She was the loving mother of James (Miriam) and Lucille (predeceased Steve).

Ronnie was born and raised in Gloucester City, NJ and attended Gloucester High School. She worked many years as a cashiering clerk for FiServ in Philadelphia, PA. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Church in Gloucester City, where her faith and community were an important part of her life.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister of 13 siblings, aunt, and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a proud grandmother to Kristine (Kamren), Jimmy (Jenny), Nicolle (Nikki), Stephanie (Ryan), Briana (Zach), Johnathan, Kristen, Tanajah, Erica, Natalia, and Ayden. She was also a devoted great-grandmother to Alexis, Dyllon, Gionna, Graydin, Aaron, Levi, Sal, Dominic, and Waylon, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, who were an important and cherished part of her life. She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret (nee Lavin) Murphy. Ronnie is survived by her twin sister, Patricia White. She was predeceased by her 12 brothers and sisters.

She cherished the simple moments that brought people together, especially her weekly breakfast dates with her girlfriends and family. These gatherings were filled with laughter, conversation, and treasured memories.

She shared an especially special bond with her twin sister, Patricia. The two were inseparable, and their lifelong connection was a beautiful testament to the love and friendship they shared.

Her warmth, kindness, devotion to her family, and love of life will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and a family who will carry her love with them always.
