On July 4, 2024, at the age of 67, Virginia passed peacefully in the care of The Palace Rehab and Care of Maple Shade. (nee Burns). Formerly of Mantua and Magnolia, NJ. Loving mother of Lynwood R. Jakubec, Jr. (Shannon Shoemaker) and Karen Smith (Anthony Puleo, Jr.). Cherished grandmother of Jeremey, Morganna, Allison, Daymion, Gabrielle, Kody, Donavin and Gavin. Beloved sister of Lillian Burns. Predeceased by her brother, Fredrick E. Burns, Jr and her sister, Ruthann McIlvaine.
Virginia was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Fredrick and Virginia Burns. She worked many years as a bus aide for Holcomb Bus Company. She enjoyed bowling, crafting and crocheting.
At her request, services will be private. A memorial celebration of her life is being planned for a later date.
