Obituary

Wallace Walters "Uncle Wally" peacefully passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age 82. He was born on June 17 th , 1940, in Philadelphia, PA and spent his childhood in Sea Isle City, NJ which made his love of the beach strong. Wallace is predeceased by his parents, wife Phyllis, daughter, Theresa and son, Robert. He is survived by his nieces who he dearly cherished, Kathy Diedel (James), Lauren Copertino (Ra`elle), Stephanie Jones (Gareth), and many other family and friends who will all miss his smile and funny sayings or quotes. His love for family and church was lifelong.

Wallace was a member of the U.S. Army 101 st Airbourne Division, serving as a hero during the Vietnam War. He loved his job working as a welder for the Iron Workers Local 11. He enjoyed time with family, fishing, boating, hunting and time spent at the Sea Isle beach. He enjoyed watching all sports especially the Philadelphia Eagles.

Graveside services will be celebrated on Thursday, December 29 th at 11 am in the Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, 240 Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ.
