On April 30, 2023. Age 82. Of Gloucester City. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Alfred and Catherine (Shade) Green. Loving husband to the late Anna (DiCresenzo) Green. Walter is survived by his loving son, David E. Green; brother-in-law, Julio DiCrescenzo (Joan); sisters-in-law, Mary Wagner, Frances Shone, Emma Malin and many other nieces and nephews. Walter was also predeceased by his brother, Alfred Green; sister, Edna Dorsey and Joanne Piontkowski.

Walter worked for many years as a candy maker for Whitman Chocolate in Philadelphia, PA. He attended Roman Catholic High School. He was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Gloucester City, NJ and the Gloucester City Knights of Columbus Council # 674 in Gloucester City.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Catholic Funeral Service on Wednesday morning, May 10th, at 10:00 am in the Chapel at New St. Mary's Cemetery, 515 Browning Road, Bellmawr.
