Lindenwold - Peacefully on June 19, 2018. Age 93. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late, Frank and Emma (Molson) Evans. Wilbert is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Gloria (Tamini) Evans; loving son, John Evans (Sherry); grandchildren, Stacey, Danielle, John Jr., John J., Jonelle, Thom, Kathy and Lisa. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and many great great-grandchildren. Wilbert was predeceased by his daughters, Maryanne and Patricia and his grandson, Steven.

Wilbert proudly served his county during WWII in the U.S. Navy as a member of the Seabees. He was very proud to have been part of the Philippine Liberation. "Can Do". He was a Life Member of the VFW Post 3620 in Gloucester City and the American Legion Post #72 in Brooklawn.
