On April 6, 2015. Of Brooklawn. Husband of 45 years to Anna (nee Hamilton); father of William M. Minix (Michelle), Matthew Minix (Carrieann) and Monica Gallier (Richard); grandfather of 6; brother of Robert and David Minix and Ruth Johnson. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Randy, Daniel, Franklin, John and Charles. William served during the Korean War and was a longtime member of American Legion Post 72 in Brooklawn. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
