Surrounded by his loving family at home, Bill passed peacefully on March 31, 2022, at age 79. Lifelong resident of Gloucester City. Loving husband of 58 years to Rita M. Ritchie (nee Harrington). Loving father of William Ritchie, Jr. (wife Karen), Patty Anyzek (husband Ed, Jr.) and Tommy Ritchie. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Raines, Jessica Ritchie, Brianna Nascimento (husband Zach), Eddie Anyzek, III and Carlie Anyzek and great-grandfather Aaliyah, Gage, Caleb, Bella Rose and Mackenzie. Beloved brother of Bud Ritchie, Emily Coppola, Barbara Birney and many loving nieces and nephews.
Bill was the proud owner of Ritchie & Sons Trucking and longtime member of Teamster Local 676. He enjoyed the many cross-country trips he made. Bill was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday morning, April 7 th from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM. Interment will follow in New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
